Love Letters follows the lives of Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner, both born to wealth and position. The two are childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence begins with birthday party thank-you notes and summer camp postcards. Romantically attached, they continue to exchange letters through course of their lives, telling each other of their respective marriages, the victories and defeats of life, and their beautiful and tragic love for one another.

As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny but always telling pair of character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down.

Each performance is by donation. We will have some refreshments available during the day. Each show will run approximately an hour and a half. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward purchasing new seating for the theatre and general upgrades as determined for the building.

Season tickets will also be available at this event at a discounted price.
